Vehicles collide near Weetown

Driver Norman Allison, 69, of Ottertail, was traveling westbound on County Road 1 about a quarter-mile west of Weetown when he made a U-turn in front of a vehicle driven by Katie Rosenthal, 24, of Dent, according to an Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office report.
Following the collision, which occurred around 2 p.m. Thursday, Allison was transported to Lake Region Hospital by Ringdahl Ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the report.
Both drivers were wearing their seat belt and both vehicles sustained more than $1,000 in damages.
