Edward F. Kern, 84, of Dent, died Sunday, Dec. 3, 2006.

The funeral is at 11 a.m. Friday, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dent, with the Rev. Arlie Sowada officiating. Burial will be at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, rural Dent.

Visitation is Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m., with a prayer service at 8 p.m., at Schoeneberger Funeral Home in Perham.
