Lisa Klobucher

Lisa Fay Klobucher, 42, of Livonia, Mich., and formerly of rural Underwood, died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2006, at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor.

She was born May 26, 1964, in Fergus Falls, the daughter of Duane Anton and Betty Lou (Sydow) Moe. She attended Sunday School and was confirmed at Tordenskjold Lutheran Church. She went to school in Underwood, graduating in 1982, and then went to Alexandria Technical College where she studied Marketing and Sales Management for one year.

She worked as a house painter in Carson City, Nev., as a bartender at Indian, Alaska, at a pet store in Fort Pierce, Fla., and then managed the Legion Club in Baraga, Mich. She moved to Livonia, Mich., in 1991 and was a mom and homemaker until the time of her death.

Lisa was a member of the American Legion, and enjoyed camping and fishing. She and Paul spent nine summers gold mining at Chicken, Alaska. She had a neat sense of humor, loved the outdoors, and truly enjoyed her many friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Duane; two uncles, Roger Sydow and Henry Sydow; and two aunts, Marlys Fletcher and Joanne Byrne.

She is survived by her special friend, Paul Mitchell, of Livonia, Mich.; daughter, Nancy Klobucher, of Dalton; mother, Betty Moe, of Underwood; two brothers, Dennis (Dannette Lisa) Moe of Denver, Colo., and Douglas (Wanda) Moe of Appleton; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation: Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home with a 6:30 public prayer service
Memorial Service: 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Tordenskjold Lutheran Church, rural Underwood.
