Lois Mickelson, 82, Fergus Falls, MN

Lois Thelma Mickelson, 82, of Fergus Falls, died Sunday, March 30, 2008, at Broen Memorial Home in Fergus Falls.
She was born March 13, 1926, in Emo, Ontario, Canada, the daughter of William and Sarah (Hickey) Brigham.
She married Donald Carl Homuth in 1943, and they lived in Owatonna and Fargo where she enjoyed being a homemaker. Donald died in 1958.
In 1963, she married Martin Norris Mickelson and they resided in Fargo. Martin died in August of 1984.
Lois enjoyed refinishing furniture, knitting, collecting dolls, reading, and gardening. She was also an ordained minister through the Salvation Army.
Preceding her in death were her husbands; her parents; her siblings, Bill, Earl, Charles and Patty Brigham; and a grandson, Charles Homuth II.
Survivors include her four sons, Donald (Kathy) Homuth of Salem, Ore., Charles (Carrol) Homuth of Fergus Falls, Larry (Lisa) Homuth and Brian Dale Homuth, both of Fargo; two daughters, Lois (Jerry) Novacek of Fargo and Maureen Ann Mickelson of Burnsville; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and one sister, Francis of Canada.
Visitation: Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service at Broen Home
Service: 10 a.m. Monday, in the Light and Life Auditorium at Broen Memorial Home, Fergus Falls
