Alice Laney

Alice Iona Laney, 95, of Annandale, died Friday, April 4, 2008, at the Annandale Care Center.
Alice was born Oct. 14, 1912, in Maine Township near Underwood to William and Iona (Jenne) Nelson.
She married Lawrence Laney on April 12, 1932 in Sisseton, S.D., and he preceded her in death on Aug. 10, 1990.
Alice was a homemaker and a member of the Annandale United Methodist Church. She enjoyed picnicking, camping, and time spent with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband; sons, Ormand and Raymond; and a grandson, Ryan.
She is survived by children and their spouses, Lyndon and LouAnn of Annandale, Ronny and Terry of Parkers Prairie, Richard and Ardele of Cosmos, Stephen and Rosalyn (Joyce) of South Haven, Douglas of Bertrum, Gayle and Odus Schier of Dover, Tenn., and Jon and Gloria of Kingston; a daughter-in-law, Gayle Laney of Audubon; a sister, Jennie Dahl of Underwood; 28 grandchildren; 62 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Noon prior to the service
