Bonita Hoaby, 74, died Wednesday, April 2, 2008, at Rosewood Nursing Home in Fargo, surrounded by her family.
Bonita Ann Mary Margret (Monette) Hoaby was born Oct. 2, 1932, to John and Loretta (Schwartz) Monette in Langdon, N.D.
She grew up in Langdon, attended school, and was baptized and confirmed at St Alphonsus Church and graduated from Langdon High School.
After graduation she moved to Fargo. She was employed at United Electric, Howie’s Repair and eventually retired from Merit Care Hospital where she was employed for more than 20 years in various positions. She always enjoyed her co-workers and many became her friends.
She always enjoyed her family, especially her grandkids, caring for her beautiful houseplants, her computer games, crosswords, jig saw puzzles, Tiger Woods and Dancing With the Stars.
She will be sadly missed by her family who loved her very much and the many friends she had through the years.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; her daughter, Dana Joy Kramer; and several aunts and uncles.
Bonnie is survived by one son, Mike Hoaby of Fargo; three daughters, Tammy (Todd) Bolstad of Fergus Falls; Darcy (Tyrone) Mattson of Fargo and Tracy Hoaby of Colorado Springs, Colo.; four grandsons, one granddaughter; two great-grandsons; one great-granddaughter; her sisters, Norma Gonser of Loveland, Colo., and Joyce Platzkow of Billings, Mont.
Visitation: Monday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home
Memorial Service: 11 a.m. Monday, at Boulger Funeral Home Chapel, Fargo.
