Isaiah Anderson, 23, Fergus Falls, MN
Isaiah Anderson, 23, of Fergus Falls, died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2008, as a result of an automobile accident near Fergus Falls.
He was born on July 25, 1984, in Eau Claire, Wis., the son of Paul E. and Lori L. (Sabin) Anderson. He was baptized at Bethesda Lutheran Brethren Church in Eau Claire and was confirmed at Bethel Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls.
In 1989, he moved with his parents to Fergus Falls where Isaiah attended public schools from kindergarten through 12th grade, graduating in 2002. Following high school he lived in Grand Forks and attended the University of North Dakota until 2007, when he returned to Fergus Falls and enrolled in a program at MSCTC.
Isaiah was an avid sportsman, being active in wrestling, football, softball and baseball, which was his chief love. He played baseball in high school and college and coached in the youth baseball program. He had recently been hired to coach the Fergus Falls American Legion Baseball team. He also enjoyed fishing and golf.
He will be remembered for his smile, big heart, his love for his family and friends, and his love of children.
He will be greatly missed by his parents, Paul and Lori of Fergus Falls; his younger brother, Elias, of Portland Ore.; his special friend, Allison; his grandmother, Pandora Anderson of Eau Claire; Onkel Warren Olsen; aunts, uncles and cousins; and many friends in the community.
Preceding him in death were his paternal grandfather, Ivan Anderson; and maternal grandparents, Irene and Edwin Sabin.
Memorials are preferred to Fergus Falls American Legion Baseball.
Visitation: Today from 5 to 7 p.m., with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m., at the funeral home, and one hour prior to the service at the church
