Arthur Holien, 83, Edina, MN

Arthur T. Holien, 83, of Edina, died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2008. He was born Feb. 4, 1924, in Jasper, to Oscar and Ida Holien.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Iva.
Survivors include his children, Gerald Holien, Dennis (Michele), Kathee (Fred) Johnson, David (Cynthia, Donald (Sandi) and Richard (Virginia); 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Lorraine (Jerome) Posey and Ruth Strader; and a brother, Arnold “Bud” (Lois) Holien.
Funeral services were Jan. 20 at Living Word Christian Center in Brooklyn Park, with burial in Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Living Word Christian Center.
