Mark Shaw, 33 of Henning, died accidentally at Crosslake, on Friday Jan. 25, 2008.
Mark Allen Shaw was born in Parkers Prairie, on Nov. 24, 1974, the son of Robert and Shirley (Reemts) Shaw. He grew up Henning, and attended school there, graduating from Henning High School. He continued to live and work in the Henning area. He worked in several different jobs in the area, most recently as a warehouse worker for Mason Brothers Grocers, a grocery wholesaler.
He was an avid and active outdoorsman, and especially enjoyed four-wheeling and snowmobiling.
Mark is survived by his parents, Robert and Judy Shaw; a sister, Pam (Mike) Ranstad of Battle Lake; brothers, Joel Roggenkamp and Matt (Mandi) Shaw, both of Henning; nieces and nephews, Tyler Ranstad, Hanna Ranstad, Tristin Roggenkamp and Noah Roggenkamp; a special friend, Rebeca Buehler of Ottertail; a very special aunt, Deanna Shaw, who helped raise him; many other aunts, uncles, and cousins; and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his birth mother, Shirley; his paternal grandparents, Clifford and Ruth Shaw; maternal grandparents, Bennie and Marie Reemts; and his step-grandparents: Alphonse and Sylvia Roggenkamp.
Visitation: Today from 5 to 7 p.m., with a prayer service at 7 p.m., at the funeral home
Memorial Service: 11 a.m. Wednesday, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Henning
