Marvin Boese, 82, Fargo, ND
Marvin R. Boese, 82, of Fargo, died Sunday, March 29, 2008, at Rosewood on Broadway in Fargo.
He was born Aug. 12, 1925, in Fergus Falls, to John and Amanda (Wicklund) Boese. He attended school in Fergus Falls and in 1944, was inducted in to the U.S. Army during World War II.
After his honorable discharge, he married Betty Jane Maddux on Nov. 18, 1953, in Minneapolis. The couple made their home in Minneapolis where Marvin worked for the railroad until his retirement. Betty died Feb. 16, 1996.
For the past several years, Marvin has lived in Fargo with his sister, LaVerne Peasley, and for the last three years has been a resident of Rosewood on Broadway.
Marvin enjoyed fishing, taking pictures and watching movies.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Betty; and a brother, Alvin Boese.
He is survived by his sister, LaVerne Peasley of Fargo; a niece, Marie (David) Malaski of Fargo; and a great-niece, Amanda.
