The Fergus Falls Gold 14U Junior Olympic fastpitch softball team traveled to Willmar over the weekend for the Last Blast tournament and came home with the championship trophy. The girls won all three games they were challenged with by outscoring their opponents 34-3. Mariah Monke pitched two complete games allowing only one run. In the third game, Miranda Kollman pitched three strong innings, allowing only one earned run to earn the win. The Fergus Gold team will now travel to Becker Aug. 2-3 for the 14U D division state tournament. View photo
