Myrna Budke, county corrections officer, received the Bruce Eckley Excellence in Training Award Tuesday during the county commission meeting. Presenting the award, on behalf of the Jail Administrator’s Association, were Sheriff Brian Schlueter, left, and Jail Administrator Richard Akerman. The award is named in honor of the late Bruce Eckley, sheriff’s deputy and assistant jail administrator.
