-The Wild play tonight and are coming off a good win last Sunday. Pavol Demitra is also supposed to play tonight after sitting out a number of games with a groin injury. It really is amazing how much the team seems to miss him. But it hasn’t only been him, Gaborik has missed a lot of ice time to the same groin injury and others have been bitten by the injury bug.
The last few years the Wild always seem to have injuries. I don’t follow other teams all that close so I don’t know if they have the same problems, but it would be nice to see the Wild go through a season at least somewhat injury free.
Some injuries can’t be helped like Mikko Koivu who was attacked with a stick on the back of his leg, but the Wild seem to have more than their share of groin injuries and back injuries. It is just one of those wonderments I have.
-I just read in the paper that some of the NFL players are going to donate their pay check from their Dec. 23 game to help out former players in need. What a great gesture. I hope that the some is actually a lot of players donating. The present day players have really been blessed to play in the era that they do and should help out the guys who help build the league to what it is today.
-I’m sorry to laugh, but Ricky Williams gets himself reinstated so play again in the NFL and then he gets hurt in his first game and is out for the season.
-Marko Jaric has been playing some good and inspired basketball this year and now we may have found out why. He is dating one of those so called “Super Models”. I would tell you her name but I know I wouldn’t be able to spell it anyway. If that’s what it takes to get inspired maybe the whole team should be given a super model to help their performance. In fact why not give us all a super model to help with our performance.
-Lots of rumors and speculations about where Johan Santana is going and for whom. I would make some comments but my mind is a little dizzy from it all. I just hope the Twins don’t screw this up.
Tommy, I will be at the Wild game tonight! I'm looking forward to watching Keith Ballard again, and just being in the same building as "The Great One" will be neat.
It's okay to laugh about Ricky Williams. I laughed too. To think that Ditka gave away his whole draft for that guy when he was coaching the Saints.
Super model...I won't go there.
Parker you dog. I would love to go to the Wild game. I bet with the Super Model your dad would go there.
I always thought Parker WAS a supermodel.
Mikko is STILL out from the injury, yet the player who hurt him only served a 4 game suspension...what's wrong here???
