It’s time to get frostbit
Published Wednesday, January 30, 2008
The Annual Frostbite Festival, to be held this weekend in Fergus Falls, is always a great opportunity to break up the long winter by attending the fun events planned.
But it’s also important to remember that, for the groups organizing the events, participation in and donations to the events are vital.
From the Salvation Army Family Carnival to the Relay for Life Rummage Sale to the Someplace Safe Tea Party to the Jaycee’s Chili Cookoff to the Chamber of Commerce Battle of the Businesses Bowling Tournament to the Kiwanis Pancake Feed to the Sertoma Fishing Derby, proceeds from each event will be used all year to provide valuable services to the community, and help those in need.
By participating in the Frostbite Festival, you can do your part.

The Daily Journal is happy to host community conversations about news and life in Fergus Falls and the surrounding area. As hosts, we expect guests will show respect for each other. That means we don't threaten or defame each other, and we keep conversations free of personal attacks. Witty is great. Abusive is not. If you think a post violates these standards, don't escalate the situation. Instead, flag the comment to alert us. We'll take action if necessary. It's not hard. This should be a place where people want to read and contribute -- a place for spirited exchanges of opinion. So those who persist with racist, defamatory or abusive postings risk losing the privilege to post at all.Posted by BobWilliams (Bob Williams) on January 30, 2008 at 1:28 p.m. (Suggest removal)

Wow.......if you want to read some juvenile jibberish and totally worthless junk, click on the link to the chipmunk's jottings. And BobWilliams recommends it? That sure doesn't compliment him.
I actually was so foolish to think maybe there was something constructive and good to be read there. Foolish me!

Vike, if you don’t like it stay away. It seems all your posts are really some complaint about something. Do you hate everybody or just yourself, you need counseling and the sooner the better. Get a life dude!!!

I have been to Bobs site many times and find it very amusing. It’s not for everyone, but I doubt it was meant to be. If you lack a sense of humor you won’t like it. But like Steve said if you don’t like it stay away. There are always some people who can’t stand to see others enjoy themselves.
