I wonder why the dog was shot and why he was running loose down the highway??????? Was it maybe trespassing or getting into trouble on someone else's property??

hmmm,....two incidences on washington avenue, the same night, one a fight, the other a burglary....both at night....something seems both a little fishy and ironic...

Or maybe the owner shot at it? and the dog was running away from what pain it had been going through. I know dogs should not be out traveling roads and trespassing on others property but that doesn't give people the right to shoot at them..

that comment I made was for sassica. As I couldn't believe her remark. As if dogs no better. Most of the time it's the owners who don't give a crap..

werty,
your comment had nothing to do with the stories, so are you one of those people that have nothing better to do than than sit and waitfor the next person that makes a mistake to make sure they know they are in the wrong? pretty depressing might i add...

Exactly my point Bev. Maybe most of the time in your neighborhood owners don't give a crap! Settle down, I know dogs don't KNOW better!!!!! I would really doubt the owner shot the dog and if they did, they must have been wasted because they didn't kill the damb thing! Oh poor puppy!

As far as the dog issue goes, I personally am fed up with the people who let their dogs run at random, I too realize it is not the dogs fault- it is the owners, but when we on the north side of Fergus have so many packs of dogs running loose all over the neighborhood, along with the many that go missing- I dont feel bad for the owners-- I worry more about my small children and their safety, owners should be responsible, and keep their dogs leashed, or in a kennel, like all of us who are RESPONSIBLE and CARING- just because a dog likes to have freedom, doesn't give you permission to let them run!

I thought Werty's comment was the best one on here...hmmmmmmmm.....how ironic!

Just a thought...whostruth...does that mean when your kids were younger that you let them outside to play and run unattended? Since you are comparing your pets to your children, I would deem that unresponsible parenting... I don't consider that mean, as, if such a thing happened with your children, you would be held accountable, as should pet owners.
