Walks kill Pelican nine

PELICAN RAPIDS — Pelican Rapids pitching surrendered 10 walks Tuesday in a 10-2 season-opening loss to Breckenridge.

Sam Krueger and Matthew-Skow Anderson led the Vikings with two hits apiece.

Grant Hillestad and Travis Campbell each had two hits in the loss.

Just an idea, but could it possibly be wise not to use the word "kill" and "Pelican (Rapids)" in the same headline for a little while?

I agree with "paultommerdahl" Brian, that was a poor choice of words.
