The Daily Journal is happy to host community conversations about news and life in Fergus Falls and the surrounding area. As hosts, we expect guests will show respect for each other. That means we don't threaten or defame each other, and we keep conversations free of personal attacks. Witty is great. Abusive is not. If you think a post violates these standards, don't escalate the situation. Instead, flag the comment to alert us. We'll take action if necessary. It's not hard. This should be a place where people want to read and contribute -- a place for spirited exchanges of opinion. So those who persist with racist, defamatory or abusive postings risk losing the privilege to post at all.

We are sitting in Florida in 85 degree heat. Wish we were there.

I live in the middle of Fergus Falls. It's 3:00pm and we still haven't seen a plow. What a joke!

There is a lot of snow to move, its slick and heavy. Where do you prople need to go to so badly. There still advising no travel, GET IT. Lots of snow. You don't need to go anywhere people. Next you will complain that the plow filled in your driveway with snow, and propably on purpose too. Poor people. Are you out of rice too.

If you don't complain about your driveway blocked with snow by the plow truck, there is something seriously wrong with you, or you drive a city plow truck.

You'll never understand someone else's job until you've done it.

I had to work early this am and was on the roads by 5:30. I would like to say thank-you to those that were up before me working hard to remove the piles of snow that we had. The streets by my home were not cleaned off yet, but other streets were, so I guess someone must have been working! They don't have a magic button to push and all the snow on every street just vanishes away. No they have to get up very early and clean each street one at a time. Thank-you for your hard work, you are appreciated.

I am looking out my San Diego window....snow plows? we don't need no stinking snow plows

To "chipmunk" I am not a snow plow driver. I just have respect for someone elses job. The snow needs to be cleared off of the street and your driveway is in the same path that the snow is going.

STILL no snow plows out here. Guess I don't pay enough taxes to the township to keep the roads passable. Good thing I haven't needed any emergency vehicles out here!

As of today (monday) there STILL has not been a township plow on my road!!! My father in law made the only little path from our house to his, which is the next driveway down! I guess it is a good thing that it warmed up enough to melt the snow off the gravel, so everyone is able to go to work today. I wonder if the plow guys road was done? Hmmmmm...

You don't need snow plows, you need border patrol!

Jerry,
You need border patrol too!
