Owners must not let cats roam free

Published Monday, May 19, 2008

Once again, will you remind cat owners, not to let their cats have free reign. I'm tired of seeing owners let their cats out at night to "run." In the morning, I find the remants of dead birds. Please, these birds are nesting, have a heart.

I enjoy feeding my birds and watching them. Be a responsible owner.

I always heard that free range cats taste better.

Maybe if people released their hounds at night (or if Magenta released them), they would drive away the cats and the birds would be better off.

I am sick of other people's pets (cats and dogs) using my yard as a bathroom!

is chipmunk eating the birds?

Probably not... but those roaming cats probably think he looks pretty tasty. I wonder if he's the same one my cat tosses around the yard every day before finally letting him run home. :-)

The only birds this chipmunk eats is the chicken at the Vining Palace. As tasty as I am, any cat that gets near me should look to his eternal father for his salvation, because he will get none from me.

Cats runnin' at night is no different than dogs chasin' deer. It should be a free shot to take em' down, then the birds will be Ok.
