Meeting on sex offender Tuesday

The Fergus Falls Police Department will host a community notification meeting Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Government Services Center regarding a level three sex offender who moved to Fergus Falls last week.
Elias Edward Thompson, 32, has a history of sexual contact with juvenile females. His Fergus Falls address is the 1400 block of North Union Avenue
Thompson has served his sentence and is not wanted by the police.

I am not thrilled about it.. I live off that street... but we lock our doors and keep an eye on our girls.

Let's take a look at the information that Angel_One so graciously gave to us. This guy has been out of prison so long that he is no longer on probation or anything. He is from Naytahwaush, MN. The adress that was listed is the RTC, which provides treatment for chemical dependency issues. This guy is probably just taking care of business. He will most likely not be out and about in our community and he will be on his way back up north before we know it. Let's be informed and smart, but lets leave the torches at home!
