The Daily Journal is happy to host community conversations about news and life in Fergus Falls and the surrounding area. As hosts, we expect guests will show respect for each other. That means we don't threaten or defame each other, and we keep conversations free of personal attacks. Witty is great. Abusive is not. If you think a post violates these standards, don't escalate the situation. Instead, flag the comment to alert us. We'll take action if necessary. It's not hard. This should be a place where people want to read and contribute -- a place for spirited exchanges of opinion. So those who persist with racist, defamatory or abusive postings risk losing the privilege to post at all.Posted by chakk_zaos (anonymous) on September 8, 2008 at 7:11 p.m. (Suggest removal)

But he's a big joke.
Maybe he should send his condolences to the person whose car got damaged. That would be nice.
Hopefully no one was seriously injured or heavy damages.

Well if that is the guy from that Tattoo shop. He was at the bar all night and than a party and than trying to fight everyone running after cars and being wild. It really looks good on him and his business...great way to make friends:)

1 VOICE i have been a bartender for awhile but not no more. And we do not force the drinks down your throat and make you buy all them shots all night. We do have the right to stop severing you but i have had fights start by trying to cut someone off from drinking. Thats no fun trying to fight a drunk guy thats pissed off at me for cutting him off. Then he leaves the bar to walk a block and then come back and slash someones tires. But we have no proof that it was him and can't do nothing. And then he leaves in a car not only driving drunk but now his is also pissed off which is worse . We don't have the right to search people and take their keys from them. Maybe you should try to pass that law and make it so that no one will ever go to a bar. How many school sports and other non-profits can we cancel then. The no smoking law hurt alot non-profits and schools. I think people should have the choice to go to a bar and smoke inside and then the non-smokers can also make the choice to go or not,.....

Oh my...assumptions. I know for a fact that it was not the guy from the tattoo shop. So much wasted time guessing.
This person was not drunk, was driving to go get something to eat, has terrible allergies, got distracted from pulling off his cap and glasses to rub his itchy eyes, and the conslusion was more than he anticipated. If you had been there, you would have seen that he pulled his car over to the curb to park it perfectly. This was more of a case of distracted driver, not drunk driver. The first thing he did when he got out is let the other party know he had full coverage insurance and to call the police. But as always...make news look worse than it is to get people to read. And by the way...the block and his age are incorrect. Go figure.
There was at least one decent person that came out to see that he was okay.
All the officer wanted was a breathalyzer right away. Leave the bartenders out of it. Adults are supposed to be hold enough to make their own decisions.
