The Daily Journal is happy to host community conversations about news and life in Fergus Falls and the surrounding area. As hosts, we expect guests will show respect for each other. That means we don't threaten or defame each other, and we keep conversations free of personal attacks. Witty is great. Abusive is not. If you think a post violates these standards, don't escalate the situation. Instead, flag the comment to alert us. We'll take action if necessary. It's not hard. This should be a place where people want to read and contribute -- a place for spirited exchanges of opinion. So those who persist with racist, defamatory or abusive postings risk losing the privilege to post at all.Posted by Babygurl4 (anonymous) on September 17, 2008 at 12:31 p.m. (Suggest removal)

While I understand this is of interest to the students, is this really news that should be in the paper?

what grade? does anyone know. I can easily imagine a teacher passing out if they had to deal with some older kids. some are scarey!

neocon-you shouldn't pass judgement just based on what the dj printed. Perhaps the person has a medical condition such as diabetes or something that they didn't know about until now. If they are diabetic it is very possible that their blood sugar was too low and this could possibly explain why the person fainted. Again, don't pass judgment unless you have all the facts.

He is possibly one of the best subs around. When the teacher announces that he or she will be gone and they say that they got this man for a sub everyone cheers.
