Bjorklund’s 20 kills ignites Rockets

Underwood volleyball players go up high for the ball against Hillcrest Tuesday in Fergus Falls.
The Underwood girls volleyball team came to town and swept the Hillcrest girls 3-0 Tuesday night. The game scores were 25-17, 25-16, and 25-7. Underwood upped their record to 9-2 overall and 3-0 in conference play.
Aann Bjorklund led the Rockets with 20 kills. Sam Huseth had a good night from the service line going 25-25 with six aces. Alex Floersch was 11-11 serving with three aces. Senior setter Ariana Odegard dished out 26 assists.
Coach Diane Ross thought her team saved their best game for last.
“Our timing came on strong in the third game,” Coach Ross said. “Ellen Ferry played her best match of the year so far. She was hitting the ball very aggressively, and Hannah Rocholl had some great defensive saves.”
