Alcohol, gun found

Authorities discovered a cash box, several bottles of alcohol and a 12-gauge shotgun on a piece of property in Ottertail Sunday after homeowners saw a man place a box in their woods.
The incident occurred on Round Lake Drive and was reported to the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office at about 9:15 a.m.
The box and its contents were examined upon the arrival of a deputy.
An investigation is ongoing.
