Hold Bush, Cheney accountable

Published Friday, October 24, 2008

Despite the uncoming end of their terms it is crucial to the integrity and reputation of our great nation that we hold Bush and Cheney accountable for their crimes against the American people and humanity at large ... we must practice what we preach to the world... Impeach Bush and Cheney.

It is never too late to do the right thing. We have some incredible messes to clean up from this administration ... so we need to pull together as Americans and get busy "cleaning house." The time is now.

The Daily Journal is happy to host community conversations about news and life in Fergus Falls and the surrounding area. As hosts, we expect guests will show respect for each other. That means we don't threaten or defame each other, and we keep conversations free of personal attacks. Witty is great. Abusive is not. If you think a post violates these standards, don't escalate the situation. Instead, flag the comment to alert us. We'll take action if necessary. It's not hard. This should be a place where people want to read and contribute -- a place for spirited exchanges of opinion. So those who persist with racist, defamatory or abusive postings risk losing the privilege to post at all.

Bush will go down as the worst president in the history of the United States. Cheney will end up as a footnote. There's no way either will end up paying for their crimes. Just doesn't happen in the United States. I wouldn't be surprised to see some of their subordinates go to jail. Like Karl Rove and the former Atty General Gonso, whatshisname. But, I doubt that'll happen either. The United States Treasury has been looted and tens of thousands of people have been killed and maimed under the republicans. I can only hope they all get thrown out of office.

A good first step would be not electing McCain since he promotes Bush....... He is as arrogant and hardballed as Bush has been with other nations.........

Wow, look at all the hate and rage spewing from these lefties. They are almost as scary as BHO himself. It is sad how they all brain washed by the DBMSM.

Like a Republican Congress spent 4 years on Clinton for his Libido, for cripes sake, and 50 million of tax payer money? I think the post about fashioning substantiated arguments went right over the head of some of the posters here. They're more inclined to call names and hurl insults. Obama's going to win, so let them stew in their pot of ignorance and hate.
