Two charged in vandalism

Otter Tail County authorities have charged two people in connection with vandalism at the Regional Treatment Center in late August.
Thomas John Gaustad, 19, Duluth, and Andrew Kirk Hexum, 18, Fergus Falls, have been charged with first degree criminal damage to property, with a maximum penalty of up to five years in prison and/or $10,000 in fines. The two also face a second charge, trespassing, and up to 90 days in prison and/or $1,000 in fines.
Authorities allege Gaustad and Hexum entered the tunnel system of the RTC and rode in one of the system’s motorized carts.
Damages to a gate and a steel door totaled over $3,000.
Court records indicate alcohol was involved in the incident. Several juveniles were also involved in the incident.

I thought several people were involved in this according to first journal report. What is happening with the others? Will they be charged with trespassing or did they help to convict these two?

Those tunnels under the RTC ARE pretty cool...but not an excuse to break in and joy ride around. Maybe they could just let those boys spend a night in one of those padded cells over at the RTC...I guarantee you they would never do anything stupid again!
