The sheriff’s office is investigating the theft of a trolling motor and a ladder from an Ottertail man’s property. The theft was reported on Monday at 308 County Highway 1, and the items are worth about $500. Sheriff’s deputies believe the thief may be someone who used to rent property from the man.
