From goingfishing:
"he has not introduced one single bill in the senate to make 'change'. "
Maybe if you'd have done your homework, you would know that this would be an invalid argument. Here's a small sampling of bills wrote or co-wrote which have coincedentally been passed into law:
Honest Leadership and Open Government Act of 2007 is a law of the United States federal government that amended parts of the Lobbying Disclosure Act of 1995. It strengthens public disclosure requirements concerning lobbying activity and funding, places more restrictions on gifts for members of Congress and their staff, and provides for mandatory disclosure of earmarks in expenditure bills.
The Lugar-Obama initiative, authored by U.S. Sens. Dick Lugar and Barack Obama, was signed into law by President George W. Bush. The Lugar-Obama initiative expands U.S. cooperation to destroy unsecured, lightweight anti-aircraft missiles and other conventional weapons, and expands the State Department’s ability to detect and interdict weapons and materials of mass destruction.
Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act of 2006 (S. 2590)[1] is an act that requires the full disclosure of all entities or organizations receiving federal funds beginning in fiscal year (FY) 2007 on a website maintained by the Office of Management and Budget.

- Maybe it's the "gain" of losing the largest budget in the history of the United States, and replacing it with the biggest budget deficit in the history of the United States....

"Naplin said he wasn’t sure of the container’s original contents but said it looked like a jar for bulk candy or popcorn."
Sometimes I have to check and make sure I'm not reading The Onion.

Full disclosure: The New York Times, a newspaper that has endorsed McCain for President, asked Mr. McCain to revise his article for print...and up until this point has not done so.
Also, the paper has printed no less than 7 Op-ed pieces by McCain since 1996.
