Why all this hatred shown toward some youth that are feeding the hungry and letting them know what is available in Christianity. If you don't believe, so be it, I feel sorry for you but that is your business. Many of the youth and adults today could take a lesson from these youth. Job well done. God Bless!

AmyO you simply must quit picking on me, pretty soon I will start to think that I am a liberal. Franken in Washington, maybe not to bad, he is after all a Barney Frank look-a-like.

Franken heard that if you are in the Senate you do not have to pay taxes! Well since he could not make it as a comedian he may do well in the Senate. After all the people of Minnesota voted in Mondale and Ventura, whats next, the Otter? I heard they wanted to hire workers from ACORN for the recount but most of them could not count.

Here we go again "redistribution of wealth". With less and less of the population actually paying taxes and more people not paying taxes but asking for government benefits, you do not have to be a math major to figure out that eventually it has to end. 95% of the population do not even pay taxes so I don't know where that figure came from. Remember, those wealthy people are already paying the majority of the taxes and own the very same companies that provide the jobs. Yes we do have the "haves=workers" and the "have-not's=non-workers in all societies. But until the have-not get off their lazy buttocks, get an education, get a job, pay taxes, it will not get better. Yes it takes effort, you may have to give up a few things, you probably will have to relocate, but, that's life! No person that is eligible for the military should receive a penny of aid of any type until they have spent a tour in the military. I double-dog-dare-you to compare the benefits of the military with anything out there. How many people are complaining about no money for school, no jobs, being bored, etc. Yes you may have to leave FF for awhile, leave your girl or Mom for awhile, but you will actually grow up. Obama and McCain both agreed that a program where all people serve 2 years of doing something for the country, I hope it is one of the things he can get going. Oh yes, a real shock is that you will have to "pull up your pants and get a haircut" for the military. With some initiative we could have many more "haves" and less "have-not's in this great country!

He was just "spreading the wealth". You best get used to it, steal from the rich, give to the non-taxpayers! Even democratic weasels will have to share their fish, if they have any! This has to be written by a democratic parent, complaining about not getting enough "hand-outs".

Until Lake Alice has a flowing inlet and outlet it will remain stagnent water, geese or no geese. It would help if they took some of the bums out of the OTCJ and put them to work cleaning up the shore and cutting the weeds.

Fergus is a nice city for retirement, but if you want more opportunities for everything else you must go to a larger city. That is why so many leave after high school and do not return. To think that Fergus had the opportunity to have the "Bobcat" plant in 1958-59 and turned them down. They said that Melroe Mfg. wages were so high that it would take all the employees and force other business to have higher wages. Well, the 750,000th Bobcat was just built in Gwinner ND. Thank You city fathers of 1958!
