as i still say this is a very unfortunate thing to happen to any parent. hopefully with these test results it will bring some closure to the why aspect for them. i still hope that as a community we can learn something from this to aid in moving forward and learning from caydens passing.....

I myself am very sad to hear of this happening. As a parent of two myself I surely do not want to go thru the loss of a child. I am not wanting to fuel the fire to anything else but I do not feel myself that the Bigwood Event Center is at fault for anything. It does cost money for things to take place, and if you figure that they had to make food for 260 people it does take time to get that together. There are many hidden factors in it. The nice thing is that someone from the community stood up like many of us could have done and donated the money to pay for the event.
MANY PEOPLE look to far into things and accuse other people that they don't need to. Like the old saying goes accusations make a rear end (trying to put it nicely) of everyone considered...
HOPEFULLY WE CAN ALL LEARN FROM CAYDEN'S EVENTS AND MOVE ON AS A COMMUNITY. HOPEFULLY SOMETHING WILL COME OF THIS EVENT TO PREVENT SUCH A THING FROM HAPPENING IN OUR COMMUNITY EVER AGAIN! THAT WOULD BE THE BEST WAY THAT I WOULD WANT ONE OF MY CHILDREN REMEMBERED FOR YEARS TO COME....

i completely agree. this is a totally bias opinion. yes it is a sad thing that should not have happened that this mans son has died. but there is no medical fact that his son died from his smoking....
i myself am a smoker. and personally the onslought of abuse needs to stop from the non-smoking community. has anyone taken the time to look into details alittle father? what upsets me the most right now is that cigarettes have gone up so much in the past few years its unreal. personlly if your going ot start taxing cigarettes then you should tax alcohol the same way. because i can garuntee that once you start taxing the alcohol at unreal costs it will start bigger discussion on where the hell all this tax money is going to......

well i agree with this because thats how i met my wife. i met her online about 3 years ago now. started talking. in about a month or two she moved in with me. abotu a month later we got married. granted it has been a rough and bumpy 3 years with everyone telling us we would not survive past 6 months. but now we have 2 kids and we are coming up on our 3 year aniversary....

this should be treated as poaching because it is basically the same thing. hunting seasons arehtere for reasons. imagine if everyone just went out and shot what they wanted when they wanted it.... we would not have any game let to hunt......

the fergus falls police sould treat this like a regular drive by shooting it should not matter what kind of gun was used. i know if it would have been me getting hit I would want charges pressed to the fullest extent of the law.

ya know some of you people are (to put it nicely) REAL @$$hole critics...
if you were to look at the pictures you would see that a few of the houses they are taking about were severely damaged. a better portion were moderately damaged.
even still there was damage and it is still a sad thing to have happen.
i know for myself if there was some ay that i could help the people affected i would gladly do it because you never know what would happen to yourself in the future......

personally i think they should leave the kettles open in the communities around the area and get people to continue to donate money and help the salvation army out more so that they can do more in the communities around the whole area...
