Hey McCain - I'd like to know what you know about Asian culture... just curious. Why don't you watch what you say before pointing the "racist" finger?
On a different note, I wholeheartedly agree with metasonics - it will be hard for me to stomach anything to do with Olympics 2008 because of what China does.

If this guy saw the RTC and THEN started to write the script, do you really think he is "aggressively" looking for other locations? If so, good luck!

In general, Asians are easily susceptible to superstitions and irrational beliefs. Anyone with experience in an Asian country can back me up on this one. I firmly believe that potential Chinese students would be turned off by a university where a horror film took place, even though the film is fictional.
Honestly, how often is it that a film with a budget of 22k can gross over $200m? Hmm, last time I checked it has only happened once. This university will bring much more revenue to the city than any low-budget indy film.

There is no irony in mimiokems comment: she is in CA, and CA is 2 hours behind us. She didn't write her comment @ 0857 her time, and she probably didn't do it during her downtime from helping folks with their Social Security. Unless, of course, the Social Security offices in CA open at 6 AM.

Huh? Why? What? Rather waste of a comma, not to mention the ink.

This Anderson is an idiot. Parents afraid to send their college-bound kids to a town where a horror film was shot? Last time I checked, NYC still has millions of visiters per year "despite" [sarcasm] King Kong having been set there. Note: King Kong was shot mainly on sets in LA - and millions of tourists still flock there, too!

How much of Pebble Lake lakeshore is owned by the city?

Perhaps getting Dubya for two terms (and all that is following) is karma for not supporting the ICC in the first place.

I like Prowler's logic: so if our schools' classrooms start getting overcrowded, should we let go of teachers? Better yet, should we kick kids out of school?

MN legislators make far less than 250k. Try about 31K. In addition to that $77 or $96 per diem.
