Oh my...assumptions. I know for a fact that it was not the guy from the tattoo shop. So much wasted time guessing.
This person was not drunk, was driving to go get something to eat, has terrible allergies, got distracted from pulling off his cap and glasses to rub his itchy eyes, and the conslusion was more than he anticipated. If you had been there, you would have seen that he pulled his car over to the curb to park it perfectly. This was more of a case of distracted driver, not drunk driver. The first thing he did when he got out is let the other party know he had full coverage insurance and to call the police. But as always...make news look worse than it is to get people to read. And by the way...the block and his age are incorrect. Go figure.
There was at least one decent person that came out to see that he was okay.
All the officer wanted was a breathalyzer right away. Leave the bartenders out of it. Adults are supposed to be hold enough to make their own decisions.

Oh my! What a shame. Our children need those teachers. And some wonderful ones they are. Nicki Welde...AWESOME, Michelle Kangas...great teacher, the students love her, as well such a friendly person in the community, Dana Flint...you'll never find a better choir instructor/director. My child doesn't go to school on Wednesdays at 7:30AM just to go. It's to sing for Mrs. Flint. Let's hope that these three and some of the other fine ones are back with our children in September.

It's so nice to hear about what Dewey has been up to.
He is the best principal an elementary school system could have. How we miss him in that capacity.

Yea McDonalds! Great job! And thank you L & J for sponsoring a team. You do a lot for the kids in the community, right down to suppling juice/pop year after year for events at your children's schools, etc. Much more than some parents can say they do. So just sit back & be proud!

You go, Stumbo! You've got my vote!

Dean Monke is such a neat man and I know my daughter enjoys him as her principal. In our seven years of education in this community, he is the best principal I have experienced as a parent. Of course, right next to Mr. Kern. Some of the others really need better people and communication skills.
Keep doing what you're doing, Dean.

I think they put something on the lanes out there! All kinds of 300 games this season. Way to go, Andy, Arvid, Randy and the rest of you bowling Gods.
Bob Carrison also bowled a 300 game during the 9 pin no-tap tournament last month. The Northern Aire Lanes men are hot this season.

You're correct, ffboyd. The school board needs to be contacted directly. So ridiculous that tax payers have to pay for a young childs education in a public school system at all. I've witnessed many things that need to be looked at in this school system. Underwood, Rothsay, Pelican Rapids look better as each school day goes by. Sad.

You go, Dave Rund! You will have many fans on the fan bus today to support you and your team. It will be my daughter's first trip on a fan bus and she is pumped up. She left for school this morning in total Otter gear right down to her socks and her megaphone and pom pom are awaiting her use. The rest of us will be watching from home and cheering you on.
GO OTTER GIRLS! Bring it home!

Yea! I have been long anticipating the gang to relocate downtown. I'm an excited member. Nick, Heather, Lance, & Brandi can't be beat.
