diadres, Sorry I did not know where your relitives worked.
You stated that "Everyone that workes at the FFMG/HOSPITAL was to IMMEADIATLY call 911 not their supervisors", I was correcting that comment as the specific instructions were not the same for both facilities. The "not public info" I am refering to is the instructions staff were to follow. I know who the individual in question is. Due to the individual in question and the distance from which the identification was made, I feel that it should have been IMMEADIATLY verified by another empl. from either facility.
To my knowledge his Patient care is outstanding, very knowledgeable in his profession.

daidres,
Obviously you do not work at either facility and your relatives misinformed you. Staff WERE NOT instructed to IMMEADIATLY call 911. I am not going to explain the specific instructions as it is not public info.
To grandma,
I have been on Third Floor many times and I can Honestly say what a person can and cannot see from there. I am not condeming the empl. for following the specific instructions, I am seriously Questioning the positive identification from the employees location.
hometown,
you are 100% correct on your comment about the Hospital.
Flashbang,
The Police have no reason to go to the individuals home, no "CRIME" has been commited.
The Hospital has "SPECIFIC" protocal to follow regardless of the threat level. The Hospital and the clinic are responsible for the "SAFETY" of many people.

The Hospital and the Clinic are "SEPERATE" facilities even though they are connected. Third floor to the NE corner of the Clinic lot, I find it hard to believe that the employee could positivly identify the restricted person at this distance. The restricted individual is not in custody as there has been no crime commited. Sgt. Hohrman is not employeed by FFMG. The circumstances leading up to this is a "Need To Know" basis. The people that "Need To Know" are the ones that are responsible for keeping the rest of us safe. The new Security Plan is something that should have been in place long ago for the safety of Patients, Staff and Visitors. This employee should have immediatly had another co-worker "Positivly" identify the individual prior to reporting. The individual was not found at the reported location. In my opinion this article was Totally unnecessary and has blown this whole issue out of proportion.

I ventured out late Fri afternoon, it sure was NASTY. I was amazed with how many drivers did not have their HEADLIGHTS ON!!! Common sense.

Grannyma, I believe the Board did look into why the certain people wanted Peter out. These certain people did not like the fact that Mr. Jacobson had a "different" set of leadership skills, as I think any new CEO is going to have. I wish we could hear Mr. Jacobsons side of it.

On Jacobson resigns as hospital CEO

Posted on April 1 at 3:22 a.m.

13yr employee of LRHC. I thought Mr. Jacobson was a very personable CEO. During his 15mos of leadership I seen and talked to him more than Mr. Mehl. Mr. Jacobson came in on the night to deliver goodies during special events, something Mr. Mehl never did during my years. This was greatly appreciated by the NIGHT staff. If the Board of Trustees "appreciated his Dedication to the Hospital, energy and enthusiasm for the betterment of the Healthcare community" then why is he no longer the leader. He did not Resign, more like "Forced" to. I think he "was" going to make changes that the "Doctors" did not like, so what happens they gang up on him and force him to resign. Is the next CEO supposed to be the "puppet" for the "puppet masters". Why would he willing resign after only 15mos. If the Board is looking for someone to fill Mr. Mehls long term shoes, they will be without a leader. I do not know what Mr. Jacobsons Long Range plan was, do not think he was here to "Run the Corp. into the ground". When interviewing did they not know what Mr. Jacobsons goals were for the Corp. These Board members have been with Mehl for many years, they are going to have to accept that a New CEO is going to have "Different Leadership Skills". I think this was a BAD move for LRHC. I wish Mr. Jacobson and his family the BEST.
