As a proud Veteran of the Armed forces(Army,Infantry), all who wear the uniform and serve our country deserve our respect. No matter what capacity they fulfill. Even if you disagree with the current conflicts. Even pencil pushers contribute to the unit as a whole. I share your disdain for our present situation, but I would encourage you to direct it towards our elected officials. They have most, if not all the say, as to what our military does. The military only follows direction as dictated by the oath of service.

I cannot fathom the waste of taxpayer dollars to send this kid to moorhead and back, not to mention the cost of running him thru or so called legal system. What has happened to common sense when it applies to fergus falls. I hope this stirs up enough support to help rally around this kid. Any attorneys out there with a kind heart. Let the sentence fit the crime for Pete's sake. Mr Hauser should know better. So Sad

I hope the school board can reflect back to when they were in school and keep that in mind when dealing out a punishment. I mean, come on, it was a prank, albeit not the best judgment(he should've had a better escape plan). It shouldn't ruin the kids life. I hope Mr Monke and the rest can keep it real. As I type I still have to laugh....thanks jon!

Along with my entire family.... I laughed uncontrollably. Whether you agree or disapprove, some of us are called to a higher purpose....like entertaining the masses! No one at my high school reunion talked about past band performances. But at my 10 and 20 yr reunion, we still had the entire group recalling the night 5 of us streaked down a busy main street on a hot friday night. I tip my hat to you kid! Trust me, whatever the outcome, you had more people laughing, than not, in that stadium.

Nice to read a feel good story with so much that is already so negative in the local and world community, yet some find it important to critique the source. Amazing. Nice job "ginger". Maybe some time spent on yourself is in order.

I agree with kid, also christianity is a religion, a man made religion, faith is wonderful, as I am sure this man's story of triumph is as well, but spare the sermon
