proterrorism- "Imperial Hubris" is a great book, and takes a good hard look at what the United States has been doing since it got involved with foreign matters. I agree with you that the US is wrong, and that our government rules the seas with iron fists. However, by the time that opinion had been formed, my head was shaved, and I was on my face doing push ups until my arms shook. You mentioned you are not criticizing the soldiers themselves, but your previous post mentioned that you were glad you were able to "think for yourself." I can only imagine you were speaking from the stereotype of all soldiers have to do is listen. Completely untrue. If you honestly do not like where you live, then vote. If that doesn't change it, whose stopping you from going to Canada?

proterrorist- I am intrigued by your words as much as I am by your username. The USA has done gotten themselves into a heap of different kinds of trouble. However, the soldiers are merely pawns in this global, war on terrorism, game of chess. Mentioning that you can "think for yourself" is 100% ignorance. As a sniper, I was more than able to "think for myself" within the context of who's actions merit life or death. I am saddened by your total lack of respect for the ones who are making choices like that. You should check yourself before you write anything so stupid ever again. Have a great Christmas.

abortion is not a black and white issue. rapists get random women pregnant every single day. is it right to have the woman carry that burden for the rest of her life? i don't think so.

summerfest is lame and always has been since i can remember. the economy is really in a pinch, and yet its expected that citizens need to "step up"? lemme tell you something, when it comes to forking out cash, on the priority scale--bills, mortgage, milk. Summerfest donation? Dead last.

coop--Phrases like "magic touch" and "if you knew how to read peoples minds through proven scientific unconscious physical signs like I do." Prove to me that you are as bold as you are arrogant. It's important that you keep a level head and do not come off as arrogant. I'll bet you can talk to monkeys and walk on water, too.

Jamie Cooper Online Slam Fest? Sign me up. His youtube videos wreak of crap in fish-flavored garbage. His opinions are as silly as they are relevant, and the guy just rubs me the wrong way.

This has certainly gotten the citizens actively engaged in questioning their leaders! If this movie falls through--I will just laugh. If the leaders want this town to die, they can have it. Fargo, Alex, Istanbul--whatever. Anything is better.

geothermal, solar, and wind is going to be the future, and solution to our energy problem. If you agree that oil NEEDS to be the way, then you are an idiot.
Apinion- What if we used a heat pump that was run off of a solar panel? I guess Im not certain what kind of conditions(clear, patrly cloudy) a solar panel can properly function at--but what a hell of a way to lower energy bills in the long run, not to mention a KEY selling point, if you were to sell the house!

FFPD is understaffed when compared to other cities of its size? When determining a city size, i would assume they are going after population, but fergus would be thrown out of the mix because 4/10 citizens living here are assisted living, who only leave the complex to drive somewhere, when I am in a hurry. FFPD is fine and dandy, we don't need anymore police than i need a pet donkey.
