Why? That comment was unnecessary and just stupid, votedem. I hope you fall flat on your face for saying that.

Why listen to Mel? "constructing a new building was projected to cost less." They've already done the research and found a cheaper alternative.

The movie isn't going to happen anymore. There is no use to keep complaining about it. Move on. We should now focus on the college or a new use for the Center.

Jamie, how do you know they aren't agreeing to a different plan? I'm sure Mr. Anderson wouldn't make up the 500 number... Or, if it's an estimate, it still would be more than 4 or 5.

A LETTER OF INTENT HAS BEEN SIGNED! People! They signed a Memorandum of Understanding when the Chinese visited a few months ago. What's that? According to Wikipedia: In private U.S. law, MoU is a common synonym for a letter of intent (LoI).
How about this part in the Journal? "An agreement with Hunan Province has already been made for Chinese students to enroll in the college’s nursing programs in the future. Student enrollment could begin as early as fall 2009."

Does anybody have a more detailed location where this is?

Jamie. One last question. Let's say that the University was a for-sure deal and the movie was a for-sure deal. The City Council put a vote together on which one to allow. It was one or the other. What one would you vote for and why?

@FFHSStudent08 - Didn't students a couple years ago do research saying that they were talking to Kohl's about coming to town? What happened with that?
BTW- the Fergus branch looks much nicer than the Alec branch. http://www.fergusforum.com/forum/thread-...
