Thanks for your “in depth” reporting of what our guys thought the other guys thought. Did anyone ever even consider asking the Chinese what they thought. You know, sort of from the horses mouth, so to speak.

Well said mgdbottled, like you I’m a liberal who believes in a sound legal immigration policy and the second amendment (after all we lefties will need the guns when the time comes) what bugs me is these Bush supporters who affirm the righteousness of the Iraq war based on violations of international law such as United Nations resolutions or mandates or past world court verdicts but deny that our leaders should be held to the same standards. Those same standards we agreed to after WWII

Drone, I served my country for nine years and four days, three tours in Vietnam and have more medals than you have coherent thoughts. (I’m now a 100% disabled veteran from wounds received in a war zone) You remind me of that right wing talk show host who appeared on Hardball last week to defend Bush’s use of the word appeasement but when pressed by Chris Mathews had absolutely no idea what appeasement meant. (check it out on You Tube) It’s too bad you couldn’t stick to the argument at hand instead of citing additional reasons why Bush should be impeached. Had you had the courage to check out Justice Jackson’s remarks in his opening statement you would understand why Bush should be tried as a war criminal.

This so-called newspaper is nothing more than a waste of space and my time. The editor finally set some standards for posters several weeks ago and immediately failed to follow his own standards. Comments which violate published standards are allowed to remain while comments which follow those same standards are removed. I know I said it before but this time I quit for good and I will not come back. I urge any other posters who feel the same to quit also.
