A week ago I might have believed this, but after this last losing streak, they've got more questions than answers...
Gomez?? Might be exciting to watch, but he's also averaging a strikeout each game

Minnesota farmers each made a median of $105,000 last year. While they may not be to blame, their margins sure have improved. Again, I'm not saying it is bad to have farmers make that much money, but it didn't make the list of "statistics".

I'm going to disagree on Mauer. Every time he tries to go and hit for power, he falters, and so do the Twins. He is the REASON the Twins have won 5 straight games...I'll take his .300+ and the base hits that come with it any day...if you want power, there is a thing called free agency...of course, that would involve pohlad actually opening his billion dollar wallet once in a while...

COMMON SENSE ALERT: All 217 of the "former lawyers" hold law degrees (part of the 228). By what you are saying with the 445, you are implying that you'd add those who were former lawyers with those who went to law school. Alas, they are nearly one in the same. Therefore, there are at most 228 "lawyers" in Congress.
Here is the mentioned article, if anyone is curious where the "facts" come from: http://www.c-span.org/pdf/110thcongress....
