Good grief people.
Palin's clothes were NOT purchased by her and she never shopped for them. The RNC had them waiting for her and her family when they arrived at the convention. And, she did not keep any of them.
On the Africa thing. Do you just read the news part time? That whole story was made up by a blogger (absolutely no truth to it) and was grabbed onto by the news as gosple.

Amen richan. And they could be in competition with Banner, which I think would be wonderful.

Frankly speaking, there should be no payback if proprerty under Green Acres is sold. The whole purpose of Green Acres is to bring the taxes more in line with what they should be if there was no lake on the property. The County has just simply put artificial values on farms that have lake access in order to bring more revenue to the County. That has to stop. Please, Mr. Nornes, keep up the work and get it changed to being proper and fair to the farm owner.

Jerry, very well said.
I add to what you said the fact that he consistently lies, cannot be trusted, is two faced, has the least experience of the candidates, openly favorites those of color over white, is anti-gun, doesn't talk of immigration (can you say illegal aunt), wants to take my money and give to those too lazy to work and favors Marxism. It's going to be interesting to see all the investigations in to his fundraising going on after the election.
It's going to be a long, long 4 years after he is elected. And, being a small business owner, when my taxes go up, there is going to be one very unhappy employee who will be laid off because I have to pay the additional taxes.
I have such a hard time understanding how those who support him can't see all the bad there is with him.

I've harped for the past several years that we need a totally new board of commissoners. Ones that will have some common sense, be forward thinking for business and development. But I'm sorry, he sounds like a carbon copy of what we already have. More regulations and free spending. We need a change, not what he offers.

I don't get it. OTC goes against 10 million which would actually bring in some revenue, but spent 11 million on the government service center which is nothing but expense. What in the world are these commissioners drinking and smoking?

It seems interesting to me that an attorney feels a need to voice support for incumbent judges. Maybe it could raise the question, is there a vested interest in making sure incumbant judges remain seated?

I really, really have a hard time understanding this county. There's a go slow approach to a burner expansion which has economic benefits but yet they will spend $11,000,000 on the Government Service Center that was not needed and $4,000,000 on a Sheriff's office that is purely a luxury.

Everybody can bash things back and forth all they want about Obama and McCain, but frankly I don't really like either one. However, if Obama gets elected, I am more afraid of the next 4 years than I have ever been before. He simply does not have enough experience, (less than a year actively in the Senate) always says what he thinks people want to hear depending on where he is, and seems very untrustworthy because he is constantly changing his position. I'm scared. Hilary was right, he is not ready to be a President.

I've heard several reports of Cougar sightings verified by tracks in the Fergus, Dalton and Underwood areas.
Everybody should be made aware of them being in the area and watch out for them.
DNR seems to be in denial about their existance in this area, so thanks to the DJ for finally printing something on them so the public is aware.
