Not sure, Clkrr.
Out of respect to the victim's family, I don't want to post any more details about the accident. I lived up the road from that spot. That section of County Rd 27 is a long sharp curve. On one side is a steep hill with a water channel at the bottom. It's just a hazardous section, just like the intersection of Cty 27 that goes into Elizabeth.

Is it possible for you guys to turn OFF the wild weather over the 4th of July. I'm flying out for the 4th and would like to see some rockin' fireworks if possible. Thanks.

To be exact, it happened at the Long Lake public access road. A car was turning left to go down the public access road. The motorcyclist was going to pass her on the left when she was making her turn. My condolescences to the family of the victim. My heart goes out to the driver of the car too, there was nothing you could have done.

I was maybe 5 and in first grade when the assassination happened. All the teachers at Madison School were crying and I didn't really understand what had happened.

A water pressure of around 30-35 is common in Seattle. The hilly topography is causing the low pressure? I think Mr.Edwards better go recheck those water lines. Seattle has more topography changes than Fergus and I have good water pressure, and we live up on a hill. If someone has 80-90 pounds of pressure, they are risking damage to their plumbing. The residents of Hilltop should go to Home Depot and buy a water guage for $14.00 and see what the pressure is. I agree with Larry Greenquist that adequate water pressure is part of your regular water charges. Mr Edwards better get a camera down those lines, cause their's a leak somewhere. Wow, twenty years to consider how to fix it. That is city government at work there.

They're targeting the stupid "farting mufflers" put on some of the 4-cylinder cars, i.e. honda, toyota, neon, etc. I was at a red light and a guy was gassin' his Honda so he could hear that muffler. He floors it when the light goes green. I gave him about a 100 yard lead and blew by him with my Acura/Type-S. He heard the K & N cold air intake kick in as I went by. The next red light he wasn't gassin' it anymore.

I thought Cleveland Elementary was named after the street that runs by it. I went to Madison,oh yeah, they buried that one. Here we go,Kennedy Otters, here we go. It may catch on after a while.

Barney is dead-on! Bucksteel & I were bartenders and we got "gifts" for good service, jokes, and being personable with people. And this was at the EAGLE'S, which is not known for tipping. Just greeting them by their name and knowing their favorite drink made them feel special. We would tell jokes all thru Happy Hour and fill the front bar. It was a blast and the "gifts" were nice as we both were in college at the time. Thanks for the story Jerry!!
