Just be thankful you have this clinic to go to. For a small town the clinic and hospital have many services and good doctors. If you are so good go get your MD and practice medicine, it's not as easy as you think!

There isn't a doubt in my mind that we need health insurance reform but having free insurance as they do in Canada is NOT a good option. People there wait months for diagnostic test and even years for surgery. It is not uncommon for people to wait weeks in the hospital with broken bones or fractured hips waitng for surgery. I know this as I work at a hospital that borders Canada.

I realize that everyone is entitled to their own opionin, but I have to say a few things to defend LRH. I am a nurse and have worked at different "rural" hospitals and have found the care at LRH one of the best around. Some of you don't understand what is takes to be a nurse or MD. We are human and make mistakes, although unfortunate...it happens. When one comes to a hospital we all think we need a quick diagnosis and treatment, and this is not always the case. You should be happy to have this faciltiy and all it has to offer. Many places don't have the technology LRH has or the variety of services.
I think some of you need to follow a MD or nurse for a day and may be you'll change you mind and won't be so quick to judge!

I lived in FF and had a dog on a leash and whenever the mailman came he would go nuts, barking and scratching to get at the mailman. This went on whether he was inside or out. I finally was wondering why he went so nuts and one day watched the mailman come down the street and my dog was outside on the leash off the sidewalk so he could not reach the mailman. Then I say the mailman come over to my dog and kick him and sent him flying into the air, as he was still tied up.I just wonder how often this does happen!! I guess I would bite too!!
