It all comes down to why were we lied to about (911) who benifited from it? There is no explanatoin for building 7 of the world trade center complex to fall at about 5pm on September 11th 2001. It was never damaged, and if you got that answer you can figure out an answer to our farm issue. Google 911 Truth and you will see what a lot of people believe, one of them is Senator Mark Dayton of MN.. (also painful deception)

Cut waste is a very good answer. Start with a major one. The Iraq War for starters, then you could move on to all the money spent to fight the (so called War on Terror) If people still had common sense (but that died when the women sued Mcdonalds for the hot coffee), we would see that we are being misled into seeing our country get into debt, and our kids and grandkids haveing to pay the price.

I wonder how the poor folks in our city can afford a gas tax on top of our high gas prices we are being told to expect this summer. We are seeing a new record high price on crude oil, it has broken a 100 dollar's. I got a better idea, stop the war in Iraq and we would have money to do all the things in this country that we can not afford to do. Ask yourself who is gaining from this war?

I leave the judgeing up to the Judge. My point is I know someone who is spending 3 years in prison for "acidently killing someone who was walking along side the road. He had been to a softball game with his kids and had a few beers. He blew just over the 1.0 limit. So why does 1 person go to prison and another gets probation. And yes taking someones life would be hard to live with. JUSTICE FOR ALL

Looking forward to 2008, we have a chance to vote again to see if we can get rid of the old mind-set this town has had for 40+ years. There is a lot of issues if we want our city to grow in the right direction, I feel there is some new blood in city council and am hopeing some younger people are willing to run.

I Know he did not intend to kill his passenger, that would be murder. (he made a poor choice you say) are we not accountable for our actions? The other person has made some bad choices too. But the scale of Justice is messed up and tilting in the direction of materials and such is more valuable than a life. What the kid did was wrong and he should be punished accordingly, But the person who's actions took a life also needs to be taught that what his actions did has a penalty, and it SHOULD be more than unsupervised probation...

In reply to tuffguii, I have done a lot of research on what I am talking about. We have been lied to by Bush and Cheaney and a few others, it has been proven.. You see once you tell a lie you have to keep telling lies to cover the lie you told.

I completly agree with you and it's about time our leaders use common sense. I am willing to step up to the plate and try to make some changes. We will see what happens this november.
