I know Brad. He's been a chamelion for years. When he got busted, Oh how surprised everyone was?! Boo Hoo. Brad has been a meth head for years and knew exactly what he was doing. As far as the remorse... doesn't everyone show that WHEN THEY'RE CAUGHT!! It's all part of the game.
The sentence should have been stronger. Brad was using even up til 1 year ago. (failed drug screen) So much for remorse.
His family is the ones to suffer for his stupidity now. As for Brad, you made your bed. go lay down. Maybe after you get out, you should move out of the county and start over.
As for now, see how far your games get you in prison. Don't drop the soap! Kudos to the Judge for not putting up with the BS.

Are garage sale signs nonprofit? I suppose they will make special exceptions for political ones later! Can't see enough of them! Urgh!

That's all the city needs is another business located outside of the city limits. Delagoon is a good idea, but a lot of kids/ parents would bennefit more if it was even places at NP Park. I agree with the downtown appeal. People coming from other areas won't venture into the downtown areas upon visits. They will stop at the local gas station (namely Take-5 on the south end) and then jump on the road again.
If Fergus wants downtown to thrive again... It's all about location!
(Fergus city council has been known to approve things without the citizens approval anyways... thats' how we got the convention center and 2nd liquor store. So, I guess we'll see what they approve!) Most likely it will end up a city owned "community center."

I thought the mall had something set up when Home Depot was planning. Kohl's was named to be the new anchor store in the mall. That didn't happen! So, what's there to go to the mall for??? If your a guy, Herberger's isn't your first choice. No where in town can you get decent suits, dress shoes or odd sized men's clothing.
I do a lot of shopping in Fergus, but I have to shop in Alexandria and Fargo/ Moorhead, because many things aren't avaliable here.
I agree with the poor management of the mall. How many owners has it been it the past 15 years?? 6? I think most purchase it as a loss claim. If the rent is so great there, why are many moving downtown?? Try finding someone at the mall office to ask these questions. I'd bet they're in Fargo/ Moorhead shopping, cause there not there.
Others will say that online shopping had cut potential sales in Fergus Falls. I say, there are a lot of at home businesses now. Ask the post office, how many are doing Ebay sales.
I think the true answer to the malls problem, is: They should demolish 1/2 of the mall, sell the space for new businesses to build and cut there losses before it becomes an empty landmark.
