OK, first of all, you need to re-read my post. I didn't say ANYTHING about job opportunities "overflowing". I will however say that your statement about "no real jobs" is inaccurate and offensive. I'm sure there are people working and living in Fergus Falls who would take great offense to that as well. I myself have worked at the same job for 15 years, and it is a wonderful job. What is a "real job" to you? To me, anyone who goes to work and receives a paycheck has a "JOB". It doesn't matter where you work... it only matters that you're working. Secondly... how is a run down house or business the problem of the city? If my house is in disrepair, then it's my problem to clean it up and make it look good - and that holds true for a business owner. And finally, I'd say it's probably a good thing you don't live here anymore. Especially if our town embarrasses you so much. I'm not embarrassed to say Fergus is my hometown. I love this city and it's people. It is a beautiful place to live. Does it have issues? Of course it does, but so does every other town.

Crime and drugs? I've lived here my whole life... and other than a broken car window here & there, and a wayward criminal getting off on I-94 and heading our way, there's not much crime. Drugs, yes, but they are in EVERY city...big or small, and it's not in "epidemic proportions" in Fergus Falls as you report. Mismanagement of $$? Yup, here and there as well. And again, other towns can claim the same. But we're not falling off the map because we're in SUCH dire straits. Good grief... you don't live here, and you're WAY off base.

Eagle_eye makes a good point... because the cars are used and they are in a neat line in the back of their property. That's a different scenario.
I live in the country - beautiful green rolling hills and a few houses here and there. However, my neighbor closest to me has decided his FRONT yard is now his car cemetary, and they've also apparently decided to stop paying for garbage collection, because they have a spot the size of their house that is PILED with all their garbage bags. It's disgusting to see when you drive by. Those are the kinds of people that the county should go after. Not sure how they would decipher who's "legit" and who's not. ???

Probably not... but those roaming cats probably think he looks pretty tasty. I wonder if he's the same one my cat tosses around the yard every day before finally letting him run home. :-)

"Self-absorbed" could be a word to use too. Good grief, someone likes to see their words in writing. Although your definition is accurate, it was incorrectly used. The word should have been "congregated". Take defeat, and go write on something else. Your MANY paragraphs above are becoming "redundant" (-adjective: 1. verbosity or UNNECESSARY REPETITION in expressing ideas) YAAAAWWWNNNN.

That's EXACTLY why we can't comment. Because they put him on the front page, and they know there would be an uproar. Just for kicks and giggles, I googled "Christine Prody". Those 2 are made for eachother. They've each called the cops on each other several times, broken up, gotten back together, and she even sold her story to the National Enquirer, claiming he confessed to her about killing Nicole and Ron. After that, they got back together. Talk about WTF?????? Sheeeeeeesh
