I recall when I was in Collage there was a sort of class on drinking and a state trooper had a person in the class use some breath freshner before he gave her the breatherlizer,no one had seen her spray this in her mouth so it would be a suprise to every one. The freshner made her fail.
The trooper told the class if you have been out and had a few and DID get pulled over,don't by any meens ever use some breath freashner to try to hide any smell of beer or boze.
That will for sure make you fail the test and he proved it to by the test!
The Lady whom took the test had been in class all day and had not had a drop of anything to drink but failed because of the breath freshner.
I know there is gonna be some one thinking that can not be true.
I know for sure because the lady was sitting next to me as this took place.
The trooper had asked me to do it first but I declined.

I think the paper does a real good job.
They make a few mistakes now an then but at lest the paper is online.
The paper where I now live is on line but only some of it.
To read the Whole story you need to buy the paper.
It's not all online ya need to buy the hard copy. You can post after some stories but the Daily Journal has them beat by far.

When I went to Lincoln Elmentry and a class mate.I think his name was Lee Becker,lost his leg back 63 or 64.
He was a big Twin fan and The whole team visited him after the surgery I think.
I recall seeing balls and maybe bats that where given to him all signed by team mates.Always wondered how Lee was doing these days.

My Mother was born in Underwood and just loved cooking and eating it.
My oldest brother John, would always try it thinking he would some day like it,That never happened.
I couldn't get past the smell to ever try it,they say once ya get past the smell you have it licked.

Oh how I miss the snow !
I moved out of state in 97,took my old trusty snowblower with and only used it a couple times to remove an inch or so of snow.
We may get some snow and I'll be out blowing my drive then to a few next door.

I used to skate there a lot back in the early 60 as I lived a block away.
Always enjoyed it,not much smell in the winter months.

TAYL Steven D. You should be able to figure out Who this is with out calling your Sis. Its been at leat 25 or more yrs since we have talked.
I think the last time we spoke was at the old Kadel farm deer hunting,the house was still there at the time.

I now live in Chillicothe Mo. and have vacationed in F.F. many times.
We spend a little over $1,000. on each visit.
This vacations are on hold and will never happen again unless were alowed to smoke after our meals.
I have always enjoyed visiting with relatives,Wifes grave,old friends,ect but will comunicate with these by phone,email ect. from now on and if there is bars ,restraunts ect,that have to close because there cash flow has slowed to where they can't make it.
Its not our fault or any from the tourism that has stoped.
I have seen bars all ready have to close because of the smoking bans.
I don't drink so they never got any money from me or my wife but restraunts do.
If we can't smoke after are meals we don't go there.
I'll suport my locals here in Mo. Drechsel, now in Mo.

I walk the dog that late some time.I see the police driving around and sure they look me over as they drive by,but I haven't walked the streets in Fergus in at least 18 yrs as I live in Mo. now.
