I suggest the daily journal remove the comparison to the Antiques Roadshow.

You know in many foreign countries when you feel really angry with someone, they have a little trick to calm down. They go to that persons house and you know what gets left? A goat with no head...After that a person usually feels a lot better, and no harm done.

Forget levies!!!!!!...Tax valuation should be accurate regardless of the amount of $$ you are paying. Home sales are directly affected by this as potential buyers percieve an over tax valued home as a bad purchase.

Lets not add fuel to an already declining housing market because the county can't get the correct value on the property for tax purposes.

I'm tired of hearing excuses...The properties with mucked up tax valuation are more than likely ones that have been recently re-evaluated. The agenda at hand should not be to re-evaluate every home in otter tail county and lower tax value...it should be to address the ones that are really messed up and fix them. Surely there is a record of re-evaluations by date that they could go thru to identify and fix the really wacked out ones. In order to proceed with accurate future evaluations they need to fix the errors. Otherwise, the are going to continue using these errors in comps for evaluations moving forward.

Yeah Tmalve there's 35 year old nudes running all over and we are teaching kids to do at an alarming rate...it's a huge problem we need to address. Every time I walk outside I see weiners everywhere. I think the majority feels the school should have been the one who punished and not the legal system. The truth is it's happened one time that I can remember.....ever.... during a school event...and it was truly a prank and not some sicko trying to rape everyone in site.

On Streaker charged

I recently had a senior citizen tell me, “Life ain’t a bowl of cherries son, you gotta work!” I told him that picking an entire bowl of cherries all by myself sounded like really hard work. Then I took a siesta. Old people make me tired. What with their incessant talk of bowls and cherries and work.

I think the true lesson to be learned here for all potential streakers is that next time put a jock strap on or a sock over it and it won't be illegal.

But if I were a streaker my accessory of choice would be one clown shoe.
It says, “Hey, here’s a guy who’s out there, doing his thing, but keeping it fun at the same time.” People respect that....

Streaking wouldn’t be funny if it was a standard, common occurrence. Seeing naked people where you don’t ordinarily see them is amusing. Even more amusing is watching the reaction of people who didn't expect to see a weiner flopping around in the air during a half time show. I think he did a great job of picking the event and time for the streak. What is not amusing is hearing that he could actually get charged.

Sincerely,
