A bittersweet day

So Tuesday was a good and bad day. Good in that I got back on the horse and started running again, a good 3.5 miles on the treadmill. I also started doing some squat work, which I know I really need based on the soreness of my legs a full day after.

The bad news was that I wasn't exactly stunning on my diet. I tried out Arby's, and while I went with the healthy option -- a turkey and swiss sandwich on wheat -- I'm sure the curly fries didn't help. A dinner of pizza -- again, I tried to curb it by eating vegetables for appetizers -- also wasn't the best.

Another word of advice -- if you're going to start taking vitamins, be sure you buy a fresh bottle. I took a vitamin for a few days that had been sitting in our cabinet for probably a year. Based on my stomach quesiness, I'm assuming it was a bad idea.
