Continuing to Push the Limits!

Well the athletes are 4 weeks into their training and continuing to make progress. Each time they are here we push them to the limits, whether that be lifting a little more weight, tacking on 20 more seconds to a run or asking them complete one more repetition in the pool. The individuals competing in this competition are very determined. Not only are they seeing some physical results, but they are already noticing some lifestyle changes. A couple of examples, Mick had told me about how he was out hunting and didn't feel as out of breath trudging through the snow as he usually would. Then that evening, when he normally would be exhausted, he was full of energy. Jeff also had said he would pop a couple of ibuprofen for aches and pains, and he hasn't had to do that since starting a regular workout program. Here at Athletic Republic the goal of our trainers is to create a great training experience, but secondly to push individuals to the limit and help them kick off a healthier and more active lifestyle.
