Words of wisdom...be careful what you think or say

The last week or so has not been so bad. I was even thinking about asking Natalie to "step things up a bit" to make me work a little harder. I kept this thought to myself thinking I would just work harder on my own.
As Jeff and I were warming up Natalie asked me how I was feeling. I told her I must be getting used to things as I no longer had the aches and pains the following day. I said this not knowing what she had in store for me that day.
We started out with some light stretching and rope jumping. I than got my first taste of running the stairs. I learned quickly that I don't like the stairs. What followed was additional cardio & abdominal exercises, triceps, push-ups, more rope jumping, etc.
After an hour I was totally wiped out. As I was laying face first on the floor, I told Natalie about the earlier thoughts. I think she might have been laughing a little when she told me that, as my personal trainer, it is her job to know when to step things up.
It is now Monday and, for the first time in four days, I am pain free. As the saying goes though - no pain, no gain. I might be imagining things but I think I can still hear Natalie laughing. I guess I'll find out for sure tomorrow.

Mick did a great job keeping up last week. His body is adapting to the exercise very well and it was time to add a bit of challenge in. He executed very well and stuck with it to the very end. We finished our last set and I asked him if he wanted a little more. His quick response was "NO!" He had an intense workout and really pushed through. His thoughts are true, "No pain, no gain"... to an extent. You need to be aware of your body and make sure the pain continues to dwindle as days go by, otherwise you may have pushed it too far. Mick, keep up the good work and we will continue to challenge you each time you come. One of our goals, amongst many for you, is to make getting through the fields out hunting a piece of cake!
