The Office of the Otter Tail County Auditor-Treasurer will receive sealed bids for the sale and removal of the building/structure/dwelling
located on the following described real property:

Lot 4 and East 40’ of Lot 3 Saure’s Addition
The building/structure/dwelling located on the above described real property will be sold to the highest and most responsible bidder for
removal from the property noted above based upon the terms stated in the “Agreement for the Purchase and Removal of Building”. For your

The Office of the Otter Tail County Auditor-Treasurer, Government Services Center – 510 Fir Ave W., Fergus Falls, MN will accept sealed bids
until 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 7, 2020. The Otter Tail County Auditor-Treasurer’s office will open and read aloud the sealed bids on
Wednesday, October 7, 2020 beginning at 2:30 p.m. in the Otter Tail County Commissioners’/Otter Tail Lake Rooms, Government Services
Center – 515 Fir Ave W., Fergus Falls, MN.
A bid bond or cashier’s check equal to at least 5% of the total bid amount must accompany the sealed bid. The cashier’s check should be
payable to the Otter Tail County Treasurer. Otter Tail County will require payment in full per the terms of the “Agreement for the Purchase
and Removal of Building”. In addition, the submitted bid form must contain a statement acknowledging all of the provisions of the
“Agreement for the Purchase and Removal of Building”.
The successful bidder will be responsible for the total base bid amount, the legal publication cost, as well as any costs associated
with compliance with the provisions of the “Agreement for the Purchase and Removal of Building”.
The Otter Tail County Auditor-Treasurer reserves the right to open competitive bidding immediately after the bids have been opened and
read on Wednesday, October 7, 2020, from the floor to those individuals/entities that submitted a qualified sealed bid on or before 2:30 p.m.
on Wednesday, October 7, 2020.
A qualified sealed bid will consist of the following: the County Official Bid Form, the total base bid amount, an acknowledgment that the bidder
has read, understands and accept the terms as stated in the “Agreement for the Purchase and Removal of Building”, contact information
(address and phone number), signature and either a bid bond or a cashier’s check equal to at least 5% of the total base bid amount. An
official bid form can be obtained from the County Auditor-Treasurer’s office during normal business hours or can be downloaded from the
County website at:

The Otter Tail County Board of Commissioners will award the sale for the removal of the building/structure/dwelling from the above described
property on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 to the highest and most responsible bidder (the bid most favorable to the County); however, the Otter
Tail County Board of Commissioners does reserve the right to reject any and/or all bids.
