Pursuant to the provisions of Minnesota Statute 394.26 NOTICE is hereby given that
a public hearing will be held before the Otter Tail County Board of Adjustment in the
Commissioners’ Room of the Otter Tail County Government Services Center, Fergus
Falls, MN or virtually (please refer to the Otter Tail County website for the link for the
meeting) at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 14, 2022, for considering applications for
variance for the following:
1. Paul Lykken, Lot 1 of Broadwater Beach & Lot 1 of Broadwater Beach 3rd Addn.
& Life Estate of Arlene Lykken, Section 7 of Dunn Township by Pelican Lake, request an after the fact variance from the ordinary high water level setback requirement of the Shoreland Management Ordinance.
2. Brian & Sarah Christopherson, Lot 3 of Shermerhorn Beach, Section 13 of Dora
Township by Big McDonald Lake, request an after the fact variance from the lotline
setback requirement of the Shoreland Management Ordinance.
3. Bradley & Brenda Kneisl, E 55’ of Lot 1 of Sanda’s Beach 1st Addition, Section
24 of Girard Township by East Battle Lake, request a variance from road right of
way and the ordinary high water level setback requirements of the Shoreland Management Ordinance.
4. Asche Tst., Et Al, Richard Asche, Lot 3 & Land Between Lot & Lake of Rolfson
Beach, Section 36 of Sverdrup Township by South Turtle Lake, request a variance
from the vertical separation requirement of the Shoreland Management Ordinance.
5. William & Sherry Ames, Unit 1 & 1/7 Int in Common Elements Rushview Condominiums CIC #62, Section 26 of Rush Lake Township by Rush Lake, request a
variance from the ordinary high water level setback and the shore impact zone
impervious surface requirements of the Shoreland Management Ordinance.
6. Wade & Heather Erickson, Lot 3 Blk 1 Ex Tr of Reinke Beach, Section 14 of Eagle
Lake Township by Eagle Lake, request an after the fact variance from the road right
of way setback requirement of the Shoreland Management Ordinance.
